An opportunity for the Cartter family to communicate - if you're one of us, jump in! If you're not a Cartter, leave a comment someplace anyway - I'd like to know who's stopping by. Otherwise, I'm just going to ramble until a Cartter comes in with questions... Astutia Et Animo
My blog has moved to The O Word. See you there!

Since I started it, I will also start the conversation - Hello, world!
Thank YOU for leaving a comment! And, you are welcome.
Passing through on my first day blogexploding and thought I'd give a shoutout to another relative newbie.
A corgi/black lab mix. Ay caramba. I grew up with a black lab/beagle mix at one parent's house -- nice enough dog once he got to be about 10, excitable his whole life before that, and a tail like a whip -- and a corgi at the other. The corgi was a nutjob. You'll probably have your hands full with that one. :P
This is a pretty cool idea, so I thought I would say Hi!
Saw you on BE...
c-dog:
Thanks for dropping in. Yeah, the lab/corgi is fun. Very loving, very protective, very built-like-a-tank. Lab body, Corgi legs and tail.
patcam:
Nice shirt. I have a few Hawaiin's myself, a little more subdued - in the blue arena.
Thanks for stopping by - I'll return the visit soon!
Wow..I'm not a Cartter but if Cartters can jump the future like that (December 2006) I so want to be in! ;)
We don't jump the future - often. I've tried a few different ways to make the open discussion sticky, and so far this is the lowest maint, method.
If anyone more informed than I (which should cover about 80% of you) can tell me how to make it sticky without goofing on the date, I would be eternally grateful.
Hulk Hogan and Sgt. Slaughter for President!
Cary, thanks for the post at my blog. I love that picture too. If I let myself focus on it, I can almost feel the sand between my toes again.
This is a cool idea! It's a fun way to meet the people who pass by your blog.

You are always welcome to visit here, I will be dropping by to read you as often as possible.
I'm hoping I don't have to activate the word verification thing. We'll see if the weirdos stay away on their own.
It's just the occasional weirdo, but it's just irritating enough...
Hi Cary ... thanks for the stop at my blog and the comment about Big Boy's! LOL
The word verification thingie will more or less stop the automated ad type comments we all get from time to time. As for the strange ones ... nope ... the wierdos will still come and leave them. You just have to be vigilant and weed them out as they appear!
My cousin's son used to live in Glendale ... now he lives in Gilbert as well as my cousin. I'm hoping to be there sometime this winter myself! I LOVE Arizona!
I'm here
Sherpa was here!
Welcome, eko and opiatedsherpa!
Just dropping by to say hi!
Hi Stargazer!
I dropped by too!
Hi Cube!
Heh - sounds like something you'd see on a semi-trailer...
I've never heard of Cartter with two t's! Hello!
Thanks for stopping by, No BS. Yes, the double T Cartters have been around for a while. History fascinates me. I could study it for years and still find rabbit trails to follow...
Good site; I haven't been around in a while, and it is good to be back.

Cary Carter with two T's, Merry Christmas to you & yours! BTW that's merry with two R's ;-)
Hi,
Among the Cartters buried here in Sechlerville Cemetery (Hixton, WI, we have a David Kellogg Cartter. I think the death date is 1946. Am wondering if he would be a grandson of David K Cartter (1812-1887). Thanks.
You may email me at gregg_mulry@yahoo.com if you know anything about "our" David K Cartter.
Dropped in....hello!
Are your ears ringing yet on this Red Shirt Friday?
